Verizon BlackBerry Storm 9530 Unveiled

US telecom Verizon today announced the upcoming Verizon BlackBerry Storm 9530 (formerly known as the Thunder), which is the first touchscreen BlackBerry. In a leaked internal video Chief Marketing Officer Mike Lanman shows off the device which is coming in November.


Wired has a copy of the Verizon’s talking points are notes the highlights are:

• "Click" touchscreen, with tactile feedback
• "High resolution" display
• Quad-band
• 3.2 megapixel camera
• "Full HTML browsing" - sounds like a fully-capable web browser
• Visual Voicemail

TELUS is expected to be the sole Canadian carrier of the Storm in Canada.
