Campbell and Sturgeon Award Winners Announced

The Kansas City infoZine reports that "In War Times" by Kathleen Ann Goonan has won the John W. Campbell Memorial Award for best science fiction novel of 2007 and "Finisterra" by David R. Moles and "Tidelines" by Elizabeth Bear share the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award for best short science fiction work of 2007. (via Locus Online)

I got about fifty pages into “In War Times” when I decided it made no sense. I don’t intend to try to read it again but will look for the short stories.
