Microsoft Developer Division General Manager Scott Guthrie has announced the Beta 2 release of Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5 Beta 2. The VS 2008 Beta 2 can be installed from disc images or by using pre-configured VPC images. Smaller Visual Studio Express Editions are also available.
The .NET 3.5 Beta 2 includes a go-live license which allows you to build and deploy applications into production.
The official VS 2008 launch date is February 27, 2008 in Los Angeles but it will likely hit MSDN before then.
