Canucks On The Moon?

A Canadian Press story states that Canadian Space Agency officials are hopeful that Canadian astronauts could take part in NASA’s return to the moon planned for the early 2020’s. Chief astronaut Julie Payette who was the first Canadian on the International Space Station advanced herself as a possible candidate, the article quotes her as saying “"It's a great idea. . .if there's an opportunity, if I'm the right person, absolutely!" and notes at 43, she is the youngest of the current crop of six Canadian astronauts. Payette will be 61 in 2024.

Could Payette in fact go to the moon? Will any of the current NASA astronauts be picked for lunar missions and when will we know this? 2015? 2018?
